Brisa Arballes is a first generation, undergraduate flute music education major at the University of Houston studying under Tyler Martin.

Brisa has held multiple leadership roles with the Spirit of Houston as a section leader and with Tau Beta Sigma as Chapter Historian, Chapter Secretary, and Vice President of Membership.

Aside from her studies, Brisa advocates for education by working with Breakthrough Houston, which serves highly motivated, historically underrepresented students in the Houston area. Brisa's love for education and commitment to life long learning has led her to tie her passion for teaching with her love of music. She hopes to see a day where every child receives equitable access to quality education to achieve post-secondary success not just in core academics but also through access to creative outlets that help students grow as leaders, artists, and community members through respect, kindness, discipline and dedication.
